Using some of the same visual elements/styles, I've added visual interest to what could otherwise be a very cut and dry report. Over the years we have incorporated more color and photography to bring a more personal and uplifting feel to our annual reports and other materials.
In 2022, we launched a full redesign of our newsletters. We have content aimed at our professional partners as well as donor families, so we combined three partner newsletters into one and softened the overall look and feel of our donor family newsletter. I researched all aspects of the redesign, including how to color code for different audiences, keeping headline styles consistent for both newsletters, incorporating the same fonts, and more. I produce both print and email versions of both newsletters, and each is sent quarterly.
Each year, Midwest Transplant Network produces a calendar featuring donor families, recipients, and/or living donors and their stories. My involvement includes includes art direction/developing numerous concepts, presenting mockups and briefs to executive team, scheduling photographer, assisting with selection and schedule coordination of 12 families for shoots, proofreading, managing the print process and more.
This campaign was part of Midwest Transplant Network's attempt to increase awareness of the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation among all races and ethnicities. We featured photos of donor heroes paired with impactful quotes from their loved ones. This campaign was implemented across multiple platforms including digital signage ads in select hospitals, gas pump toppers, interior and exterior bus ads, social media posts, and more.
In 2015, Saint Luke's Foundation began providing separate, condensed giving reports to donors and leaders from each major health system entity. Saint Luke's Health System had recently expanded their color palette to be more cheerful, and I was eager to implement that change to freshen up our overall look. Shown below are the previews of the reports I designed for Saint Luke's North Hospital, Saint Luke's South Hospital and Saint Luke's East Hospital.
Each year in October, water utilities around the country stress the importance of water - or lack thereof. Our team collaborated to come up with ways to display all of the conveniences we may take for granted and partnered with local businesses to help spread that message.
Each month, KC Water had the opportunity to design and include a bill insert to highlight a different aspect of our own or the City's services.
